I was born in La Pampa on 7 November 1964. I am Argentina and also Spanish by descent, having three grandparents who came from Castilla and Leon. At the age of 8, I moved to Buenos Aires, where I studied at the School Number 4 “Amadeo Jacques”, in the National College of Buenos Aires and the Faculty of Agronomy, UBA. In 1993, I went to The Hague, The Netherlands, where I completed a Masters in Agricultural and Rural Development at the Institute of Social Studies (ISS). A few years later, in 1999, I completed a Masters in Social Anthropology at Goldsmiths, University of London, where I acquired a strong background in anthropology, visual communication and photography, which became an expressive necessity.
I attended a workshop for three years, during which time my camera became my companion and photography became a tool for my academic work in rural development, my fieldwork and in the area of organic production. From there arose almost all the photographs that are exhibited in galleries on this site, which are predominantly the plains, the pampas countryside, its people and customs, landscapes and characters, all of which surrounded me on a daily basis.
Moreover, since 2002, I have performed as a freelance photographer. I have been responsible for the covers of the magazine Inside Earth since March 2007 and for the Photography of the studio Guerrini Design Island since 2002.
